hbf-AMEO offers internships of a minimum three months to interested students and graduates from Germany, Palestine and elsewhere.
 
We recommend applicants submit their applications at least six months before the start of the planned internship. Applicants should have a strong interest in political and social developments in the region. An excellent working knowledge of English is a prerequisite; and knowledge of Arabic and previous experience of the region are an advantage.
In the past it has proved helpful for interns to combine their work at our office with their own research projects (e.g. for MA dissertations).

We are currently not in a position to offer interns remuneration or cover of travel costs.

For living expenses in Ramallah/West Bank, applicants should budget for around 400 €/month including accommodation.

The staff of our office will be glad to assist interns in finding moderately priced accommodation as well as Arabic tuition if required.
