Leadership course on renewable energy - The second leadership course on renewable energy is to be conducted by the United Nations University – International leadership Institute. This special course will target fifty young professionals mainly from developing countries to develop their leadership skills and to increase their knowledge on renewable energy and the urgent need for using such energy in the near future. This course will also focus on ways of conserving current traditional energy supplies.
The Insan Center for Gender Studies at Al-Quds University in Palestine is organizing a One-Day Symposium on "Integrating Gender & Women's Studies into the Curricula". This symposium brings together international feminist scholars, who teach Women's or Gender Studies or who incorporate these studies into other disciplines, to present papers exploring topics of relevance. The one-day symposium takes place in al-Quds University on Monday, November 5th, 2007. The foreign experts will go the next day in a field trip to visit some research institutes and women studies centers.
| Shashat Annual Women's Film Festifval in Palestine This annual women's film festival showcases the creativity of Palestinian, Arab, and international women filmmakers. Shashat held its 1st Women Film Festival in 2005, 2nd Women Film Festival in 2006, and is now launching its 3rd Women Film Festival 2007.
